We enjoy a wonderfully diverse range of activities and specials at our church that are both fun and edifying.  We'll keep posting them to this site.

Spring 2010

Our Sportsmen's Banquet  was a huge success!  Thanks to Chad Schearer and all who made this event possible.  Nearly 400 sportsmen attended and enjoyed a great time of food and fellowship and heard a wonderful message to boot.

Spring 2009

Our Pee Wee Club meets Wednesday nights and consists of kids aged 4-5.  It's a wonderful time of learning and fellowship.

Our Little Girls Baking Club has been hard at work, creating tasty treats for our "more seasoned" ladies in the church.

Our Frontiersmen held a "Gutter Boat Race!"  This group meets at the fellowship hall on Sundays at 5:00pm.  It is not only a great time of fellowship for the boys 5 and up, but it is also a time of learning important skills and trades.

Fall 2008

Thanksgiving in and around Slippery Rock Baptist Church.  We have much for which to be thankful!

Our annual Harvest Fest, hosted by Brother and Sister Seivers, was a "smashing" success.  We were blessed to have the PineRidge Boys sing for us.  Note:  no pumpkins were harmed during this church activity.

Our Senior Saints bring new meaning to the phrase "canned corn" in their recent outing.

Summer 2008

Annual Church Picnic:  the Dave Whalen Family blessed us with their music in July 2008 and we enjoyed food and fellowship as well.

WADER SUNDAYS!  A bit of a tradition at our "Small Country Church."  Recently, a number of people (both young and old!) have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and have been baptized.  We even do it "like Paul and John the Baptist" on some occassions!

Vacation Bible School:  Coming Soon........some pictures from this year's Vacation Bible School.  We had nearly 200 young people attend!
